Huge LPBW Bombshell: Zach and Tori Announce Another Baby!
Tori and Zach Roloff Reveal Son Jackson’s Scary Accident — Plus New Details About Zach’s Ongoing Rift With His Father Matt
Fans of Little People, Big World were left both shaken and touched after Tori and Zach Roloff shared a frightening story about their 7-year-old son, Jackson, on their podcast Raising Heights.
According to Tori, the incident happened just hours after she returned home from a Disneyland trip with friends. “We had just finished dinner and were having so much fun catching up,” she recalled. The family was playing an indoor soccer game in their spacious entryway when disaster struck.

“Jackson went a little too hard trying to save the ball,” Tori explained, “and he slipped on the rug, slamming his head into the arm of a chair.” Although the chairs were padded, one corner had exposed wood — and Jackson’s head hit it at just the wrong angle. “It split open the back of his head. Bad, bad, bad,” Zach added.
Tori, who admits she used to panic easily when her kids got hurt, handled the situation much better this time. “She’s gotten so much calmer,” Zach noted. “It’s all about how you project yourself to your kids. If you panic, they panic.”
Still, Tori couldn’t hide her shock when she saw the amount of blood. She immediately rushed Jackson to urgent care while Zach kept their other children, Lilah and Josiah, out of the way. Jackson, known for his bravery, stayed calm throughout the ordeal — until the doctor inserted staples. “That’s when he cried, and I cried too,” Tori admitted. “It’s so hard watching your child in pain.”
The family ended the night on a sweet note — literally. “Obviously, we had to stop for ice cream,” Zach joked. “He got Dairy Queen and was fine after that.”
But amid the family chaos, Zach also opened up about something far heavier — his strained relationship with his father, Little People, Big World patriarch Matt Roloff.
On a recent podcast episode, Zach revealed that things remain “rocky” between them. “He’s still in denial about everything that happened,” Zach said, referring to their feud over the Roloff family farm.
Their falling out began during Season 22, when Zach and Tori tried to buy a portion of the family property. Matt ultimately refused their offer and decided to turn the land into a short-term rental instead — a decision that fractured their relationship.
Zach and Tori have since moved to Battle Ground, Washington, with their three kids and officially announced their departure from the TLC series after 25 seasons. “We were done. We moved on,” Zach said.
Tori added that another major reason for leaving was their children’s discomfort with being filmed constantly. “It was important to listen to our kids,” she said.
Despite the tension, Matt later expressed his support for their choice, telling Entertainment Tonight that he understands how difficult raising kids in front of cameras can be.
For now, Zach and Tori are focused on family, healing — and keeping their little ones safe, even during a friendly game of soccer at home.
