Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 22, indicate the DiMera abductor will be revealed while Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) faces a sad setback. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will also rescue Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), so here’s what Days fans can look forward to.

On Monday’s DOOL episode, Paulina will see that Marlena’s having a rough time.

Marlena will worry about Rachel Black (Alice Halsey) at Bayview and continue to fret over how badly she’s messed up her relationship with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) by keeping secrets about his daughter.

However, Paulina will come to Marlena’s rescue and show her some compassion.

Marlena will get the support she needs right now and will certainly appreciate the comfort Paulina offers.

Meanwhile, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will have some guidance for Brady, so she may urge him to go easy on Marlena – especially since this is her first Christmas without John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

Days spoilers say Belle will hope Brady can forgive Marlena and find a way to move forward so they can all enjoy family unity again.

As for Tate Black (Leo Howard), he’ll give Holly updates on some disappointing news.

Holly was really looking forward to spending Christmas break with Tate in Paris, but now he sees that he’s needed in Salem.

Rachel is stuck at Bayview for the holidays, so Tate knows he should stay in town and spend time with her.

Plus, Brady is struggling with a lot and needs someone to lean on, so it’ll be better for Tate’s family if he sticks around.

Although Holly may claim she understands, this sad setback could be the beginning of bigger problems in her relationship.

If Tate comes clean about his academic probation, that could become another source of conflict eventually.

Other Days spoilers say the DiMera abductor will be revealed, so who’s it going to be?

Peter Blake (Dan Gauthier) seems confused and overwhelmed, but is it all an act to dupe his fellow captives?

Of course, it’s possible someone like Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) is behind all this instead.

It all depends on the kidnapper’s motives, so viewers will be eager to find out the truth.

Regardless, this whole crypt situation is getting out of hand since Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is struggling with an infection and a rising fever.
