During the week of January 5–9, Laura proposes a drastic but necessary solution: she urges Kevin to take Ace to Dublin, far away from Sidwell’s reach and influence. Kevin agrees without hesitation, recognizing the severity of the threat. He reassures Laura that she has nothing to fear and insists that he has a plan to finally neutralize Sidwell. However, Laura is far from comforted. Desperate and emotional, she begs Kevin not to confront the villain directly, knowing all too well that Sidwell is a dangerous and unpredictable enemy who is not easily defeated.

Meanwhile, Port Charles is rocked by another emotional rupture as Portia attempts to explain herself to Trina. Unfortunately, her efforts fall completely flat. Trina is deeply disturbed by what she perceives as Portia’s betrayal of both her husband and her daughter. No matter how passionately Portia tries to justify her actions, Trina refuses to listen—or forgive. Her disappointment has turned into outright rejection.

Thankfully, Portia is not entirely alone during this painful time. In addition to Isaiah’s quiet presence, she finds unexpected emotional support from Elizabeth. Liz doesn’t offer advice or judgment; instead, she simply listens. That small act of compassion provides Portia with a measure of comfort she desperately needs.

In the courtroom, tensions escalate rapidly. Michael finds himself increasingly frustrated by Alexis’s relentless line of questioning. Justinda is expected to be honest, admitting that she was with both Michael and Ezra on the night of the shooting—an admission that could shift the case sharply against Michael.

Elsewhere, Lulu spends time comforting Dante, who continues to struggle with his strained relationship with Rocco. Dante is painfully aware of the mistakes he’s made and the emotional wounds he’s inflicted on his sons. Lulu reminds him that it’s not too late to make things right—and that redemption is still possible.

As Cody actively avoids Molly, Justine Turner uncovers a crucial detail: she has reason to believe Brennan deleted the video evidence that could have cleared Willow. If this revelation is introduced in court, Michael may finally gain the upper hand. Adding to the mystery, Trina and Kai discover that Willow’s ringtone is “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” This unsettling clue leads them to suspect that Willow herself may be the shooter.

Looking ahead to the week of January 12–16, Trina and Kai plan to update Justin with everything they’ve uncovered. With the ringtone detail now in play, the truth about the shooter’s identity may finally come to light.

Meanwhile, Jason and Carly join forces to corner Drew, aggressively preventing Danny from getting close to Scout. Eventually, Scout confides a secret to Alexis—but will it expose something shocking about her stepmother?
