Shocking Twist – Delilah’s true identity has finally been revealed General Hospital Spoilers

The Wednesday, March 4 episode of General Hospital picked-up as Delilah (Lily Cardone) is needing an emergency C-section and Dr. Alcott is called in by Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), while she and Lucas (Van Hansis) try to save the woman and her baby. They don’t even have time to get Delilah to an OR, so they have to deliver the baby right there in the hospital room.

Dr. Alcott arrives and the tiny baby is born and taken to the NICU. Meanwhile, Britt struggles to keep the bleeding at bay for Delilah, but it’s too late.

She dies. Britt calls the time of death and starts walking out of the room, and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) who was also part of the team and Lucas, ask where she’s going. In a a bit of a daze, she says she is going to see her other patients.

Lucas updates Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard), and Elizabeth explains that the next steps are for Delilah be taken to the morgue and her next of kin will be contacted. Brook Lynn realizes they know nothing about this woman, where she came from, nothing. She asks to sit with her so she’s not alone.

Next, Brook Lynn and Chase head into see Delilah as Brook Lynn tearfully apologizes to her, as she knows she was so scared.

Brook Lynn had previously reflected when she gave birth to Gio as a teen, and how scared she was, but at least she had her mother with her. This woman had no one.  She promises she will get her baby back to her family for her.

Nathan (Ryan Paevey) showed up to question Brook Lynn and Chase. He later went back to the scene where they found Delilah and uncovered her missing purse and began to rummage through it to clues of her identity and who she could be connected to.

Meanwhile, back at GH, Elizabeth hears a crying Britt in the doctor’s locker room, in a touching moment played by Kelly Thiebaud. This is the first time since Britt had been reinstated as a doctor that she lost a patient. Elizabeth consoles Britt and tells her the baby now has the best chance at survival because of her. Still, Britt is taking this extremely hard.

In other key story points: Josslyn (Eden McCoy) finds Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) with his back turned when she goes into her mother’s attic with a gun pointed at him. Will he turn around or escape?

Nathan and Lulu (Alexa Havins) re-discuss how Lulu is planning to tell Maxie that they have feelings for each other, only Felicia (Kristina Wagner) sees their closeness, and Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) decide to move in together, while Portia (Brook Kerr) tells Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) that Curtis gave her the house, which concerned Isaiah.
