General Hospital (GH) Spoilers for Friday, May 22, 2026

Friday’s episode of General Hospital is shaping up to be one of the most emotionally explosive setup hours the show has delivered in a long time.

Even before the real chaos begins next week, Port Charles already feels like it’s teetering on the edge of total collapse. Fear, desperation, and betrayal are spreading through nearly every storyline, and nobody seems capable of making a rational decision anymore.

At the center of the storm is Lulu, who has become increasingly convinced that fleeing town with Rocco is the only way to keep him safe from Cullum’s growing threat.

🏥Aftershow Discussion🏥 FLIGHT OR FIGHT? Will Lulu REALLY Spirit Rocco Out Of Port Charles? And If She Does, Will Dante Make Good On His Threat? #GeneralHospital #GH #LuluSpencer #DanteFalconeri #RoccoFalconeri

Her panic feels justified. Cullum’s behavior has become terrifyingly unpredictable, and Lulu no longer trusts promises or reassurance. She wants certainty — something that simply doesn’t exist in Port Charles.

Dante desperately tries to stop her, arguing that running away would condemn Lulu and Rocco to a lifetime spent hiding. He even points to Valentin as proof of what that kind of existence looks like: endless fear, constant escape, and never truly being free.

But Lulu quickly turns the conversation around with one devastating question — if they stay, how exactly can Dante guarantee Rocco’s safety? The silence that follows says everything.

As tensions rise, Dante begins targeting everyone connected to Lulu’s escape plan. Ethan becomes a major problem after it’s revealed he allegedly helped arrange fake passports.

Dante threatens him with prison, pushing the situation into dangerous territory. Meanwhile, suspicion surrounding “Fake Nathan” only deepens. Dante blames him for encouraging Lulu’s plan, but there’s another mystery brewing beneath the surface.

5 ways Dante and Lulu could still be General Hospital's ultimate love story (and 5 obstacles standing in the way)

What makes the situation even stranger is Fake Nathan’s conflicting behavior toward Britt. While he appears willing to help Lulu disappear with Rocco, he warns Britt not to attempt the same thing herself.

That contradiction raises serious questions about his true agenda. His interactions with Britt feel calculated, almost manipulative, as though he’s quietly orchestrating events several steps ahead of everyone else.

At the same time, Cullum is inching closer to discovering the truth about who shot him. Once that information surfaces, the danger surrounding Rocco may shift from emotional terror to something far more immediate and violent.

The tragedy of the situation is impossible to ignore. Rocco is still just a child, yet he’s trapped in a world filled with lies, fear, and reckless adult decisions that are clearly taking a psychological toll on him.

Elsewhere, Alexis uncovers another shocking secret connected to Delilah and immediately shares the information with Chase and Brook Lynn. The revelation may push Chase even further toward wanting custody of the baby, especially if Ethan truly is the father.

There’s growing concern that Chase’s emotions could send him spiraling into darker territory, potentially turning Ethan into an obstacle he feels compelled to eliminate.

But perhaps the most chilling development involves Brennan. Just as he begins regaining consciousness, Nena and a mysterious accomplice inject him again before he can speak.

What once looked like temporary silencing now feels disturbingly close to attempted murder. If Brennan dies, the fallout could destroy multiple lives at once.

Meanwhile, Josslyn finally decides she’s done playing defense. Determined to strike back against Fake Nathan and avenge Anna, she launches a risky plan of her own.

But in true soap fashion, failed escape attempts rarely end without devastating consequences.

And with everyone hiding secrets while Cullum closes in, Port Charles may be moments away from complete disaster.
