The ABC soap just released its weekly preview, and there’s a flurry of drama set to hit the canvas.

The promo shows Cassius leaving a building with James, while Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is in the same parking lot, watching them.

Cody looks mighty suspicious, as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) is heard in the voiceover saying, “Nathan isn’t who he says he is.”

As the promo continues, special guest star, John Oliver appears in presumably that very same parking lot, with two men, dressed in bulletproof protective gear and with guns.

A helicopter is shown in the background, as Oliver, along with the two men, seems to be on a hunt for someone.

All arrows are pointing toward the idea that Cassius could kidnap James, or it may appear so to the authorities that he’s trying to take the child.

Cassius is nothing like his brother Nathan, although he has appeared to show a redeemable side to himself in recent weeks.

While Cassius is James’s uncle, not dad, the two have grown very close since “Nathan” popped back into the picture.

As Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will complete the cold fusion protocol this week, Cassius will be ready to skip town, but as he’s bonded with little James, it looks like he may make good on his promise to take the little boy to the batting cages before he dips.

It seems unlikely that Cassius would try to kidnap James since he knows that a life on the run with him is no life for the little boy.

Cassius is aware that James has two parents in Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), and the last thing he’d want to do is disrupt the child’s life.

Still, General Hospital summer spoilers do imply that Cassius will risk a smooth escape out of the little town to say one final goodbye with a loved one.

Over in France, Anna Devan (Finola Hughes) spilled the beans on “Nathan” not being Nathan to Felicia.

While the blonde was hesitant to believe her friend on the Friday, June 26 episode, all arrows are pointing to the idea that Anna will convince Felicia to investigate, and the truth about Cassius’ identity will be revealed.

All the pieces of this puzzle will come together as everyone finds out that Nathan is still dead, and that Cassius has been parading around as his twin brother for months now.

Cassius’ intent to take James to the batting cages before he leaves PC might rooted with good intentions, but in the heat of the moment, if authorities come running, could he take off with the little boy?

As Cody is in the parking lot, keeping a watchful eye on both James and Cassius, will he pull a heroic move to save his nephew that risk his own life?

General Hospital spoilers suggest an explosive week in the land of Port Charles, so fans will have to tune in to see how this storyline unfolds.
