General Hospital’s ‘Z’ Revealed Raiding Wyndemere, The identity of the head of WSB has been revealed.
General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that John Oliver is set for a guest appearance run during the week of June 29, and all arrows are pointing toward the idea that he’ll play “Z”.
The host of HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” announced his GH stint during his show’s Sunday, June 28 episode, but didn’t spill the beans on who he’d be playing, or what he’d be doing in Port Charles, exactly.
With that said, he did show off a photo preview, and this week’s General Hospital promo shows Oliver, dressed in a suit and tie, getting off a helicopter with two men wearing bulletproof gear and carrying guns.
It looks like Oliver’s character is linked to the WSB.
In addition, GH’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, has hinted that Oliver will have a significant role in storylines, so it’s easy to conclude that he’ll be playing the mysterious “Z”.
GH fans heard about “Z”, the new head honcho running the WSB show, some weeks back when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) paid Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) a visit at Turning Woods.
At that time, Carly and Valentin believed Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was sent on a WSB mission by Jack as a “punishment” to Carly for learning about her affair with Valentin.

When Brennan made it clear that he hadn’t done so, Carly began to panic about Joss’s MIA status.
She believed Josslyn was kidnapped (and she was right), which is when Brennan encouraged Valentin to reach out to “Z,” as he was the only one who could help.
Brennan believed that if Valentin went to “Z” and told him about Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) dirty double-agent status, the man would help clean the situation up, and Josslyn would be saved.
Still, Valentin was hesitant, as he believed connecting with “Z” was a one-way ticket back to Steinmauer.
With that said, as the weeks went by, and Josslyn remained missing, Valentin knew the only way to save Carly’s daughter and be taken seriously by the WSB was to go to “Z” and turn himself in.
Ever since “Z’s” name was dropped, fans have been buzzing about who they could be.
Speculation ran wild from Frisco Jones (Jack Wagner) to new character Tristan Rogers (Dean Geyer), and everything in between.
It’s important to note that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will complete the cold fusion project in the days ahead.
As such, it looks like “Z” (John Oliver) will swing in and save the day before Cullum and Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) can take the protocol and use it for vile purposes.
General Hospital spoilers suggest it’ll be a major week as Oliver graces daytime screens on ABC, and the proverbial poop hits the fan!
