General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Wednesday, July 1, reveal that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will resort to kidnapping while Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) prevents a different snatching across town.

Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will also back Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) into a terrible corner, so there’ll be a lot happening in Port Charles.

For starters, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will dig his heels in and maintain that he’s not moving out of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) house despite Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) pressure.

At the PCPD, Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) will power through the pain of his head wound and make sure they put an APB out on “Detective Nathan West,” who is really Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).

Cody’s phone finally started working again, so he just heard Felicia Scorpio’s (Kristina Wagner) voicemail about keeping James West (Gary James Fuller) away from “Nathan” since he isn’t who he says he is.

“Nathan” is trying to make a break for it with James in tow, but Cody will call out and insist James can’t leave.

It looks like Cody will convince “Nathan” to leave James behind, so this should turn into a tough goodbye instead of an abduction.

At Wyndemere, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will ask Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) if she’s sure it’s the right wire as Liesl cuts one and hopefully disengages the electronic lock on the door.

At the gallery, Sidwell will continue pointing his weapon and will suggest they’re going to see how valuable ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) really is.

It sounds like Sidwell has picked up on how important Justine is to Sonny, so he’ll use his new hostage to pull Sonny into a trap soon enough.

As for Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), he’ll face some shockers on Wednesday’s GH episode.

That could relate to Carly going rogue at Wyndemere, the truth about “Nathan” or any other major revelations along the way.

In the meantime, Ava Jerome (Maura West) will fume over all the Sidwell drama while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) leaps into action now that she’s found Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) in distress at Turning Woods.

Nina will realize Brennan isn’t breathing due to the poisonous gas he’s been inhaling, but she’ll manage to save his life and make certain he survives Cullum’s fatal plan.

At Wyndemere, Carly will eavesdrop on some jaw-dropping news, so that could be about “Nathan” aka Cassius being to blame for Josslyn’s captivity stint.

Then again, maybe Carly will overhear Cullum’s plan to kill Josslyn along with Liesl as he continues tying up loose ends.

Regardless, Carly will ultimately land straight in Cullum’s path at the castle.

Cullum will insist Carly saved him a trip since he was planning on having her kidnapped anyway.

General Hospital spoilers say Carly’s anger will explode once she’s facing off in scenes with Cullum, so stay tuned.
