Days of Our Lives Preview: As the DiMeras Lay Stefano to Rest, EJ Receives His Final Inheritance — Plus, Guess Who May Be an Heiress?
As the DiMeras say goodbye to Stefano and lay him to rest, a new Phoenix may be appointed, as teased in the latest Days of Our Lives preview. Plus, an old romance seems to be reignited, an arrest is made, and someone may be due a lot of money! Also, is Chad leaving Salem?
Unexpected Turns of Events
Gwen and Xander seem to be reconnecting over a game of golf. Both are single, but are they ready to mingle and reignite their past passion?
Eli gives Julie amazing news: He, Lani and the twins are moving home! Things are definitely looking up for Julie, who is due some good news.
After finally reaching a custody arrangement with Jack and Jennifer that involved staying away from Cat, Chad drops more news on his would-be-love. He’s taking the kids to Arizona. Wait, is this a permanent move or a visit? (Given that Conner Floyd will be replacing Billy Flynn, we’re guessing it’s a temporary thing.)
Danger and Suspects
Jeremy and Alex have an intense encounter, with Jeremy still clearly the main stalking suspect in many people’s eyes. Can he convince Alex he’s not the one who has tried to kill him twice?
Meanwhile, as Leo and Dimitri meet in Horton Square, Rafe places Dimitri under arrest! Wait, why? Is this a ruse to trick Vivian, whom Rafe realized was the real culprit holding Stefan captive, not Dimitri?
A New Phoenix?
Finally, EJ, Chad, Theo, Tony and Kristen come together to put Stefano to rest in the family crypt, only properly this time.
Meanwhile, Rafe lets Eli know that if Stefan is dead and Gabi is his widow, she stands to inherit a large piece of the DiMera fortune. Yeah, they likely aren’t going to welcome Gabi back into their home anytime soon!
And finally, Rolf tells EJ the last instruction he ever received from Stefano. What was it? To give EJ Stefano’s ring!
