Days of Our Lives (DOOL) preview video for April 20-24 reveals that some exciting returns are about to hit the screen. There’ll be some familiar faces in town along with some significant recasts, so here’s what Days fans can expect.
DOOL’s weekly promo kicks off with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) reuniting with Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens), who is clearly delighted to see her big sister.
After Lani resurfaces in the April 20 episode, Conner Floyd will make his debut as a Chad DiMera recast on April 21.
Alexander Elijah Bond will also take over the role of Thomas DiMera when Chad comes home with Thomas and Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) for some great drama.
There’ll be some awkwardness right off the bat since Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will cross paths with Chad and his kids in the town square.
At the pub, Theo Carver (Tyler James Andrews) will leave his journal behind, so that’ll give Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) a chance to notice and most likely read about Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) survival news.
Other Days spoilers say Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) will grill Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) about her months under the DiMera roof and the time she spent in the “dungeon of dubious science.”
Plus, Days’ weekly preview video features Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) looking serious on the phone as she schedules a mammogram for someone ASAP.
It looks like Sarah will be concerned over Chanel’s breast lump and the possibility that it’s cancerous.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will have a serious phone conversation of her own when she calls Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) about their Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) murder scheme.
“This gets done tomorrow – no emotion, no mess,” Kristen warns Sophia, who looks rattled in the preview clip despite agreeing to this extreme plan.
The promo wraps up with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) opening the door and getting a shock, so this is when Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) and all her baby chaos will kick off.
Joy was secretly pregnant with Alex’s child when she left Salem, so she’s got an infant by now – at least assuming she went through with the pregnancy and the birth went well.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Joy’s official first airdate back is April 24, so she may be part of quite the cliffhanger for Alex!
