Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, May 28, reveal that Javi Hernandez’s (Al Calderon) new boyfriend, Gus (Michael Ocampo), will make his first appearance while Abe Carver (James Reynolds) has an honest conversation with Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews).

First on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Theo will talk to Abe about Paulina’s (Jackée Harry) decision to remove herself from the romantic equation and move out.

Paulina feels like it’s for the best since she doesn’t want to face the heartbreak of watching Abe pick Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) over her.

It’s just easier for Paulina to take herself out of this love triangle since she believes Lexie and Abe are soulmates.

However, Days spoilers say Abe will make a big confession to Theo that could suggest otherwise.

Perhaps Abe will admit that despite his lingering feelings for Lexie, he’d choose Paulina if things were less complicated.

Abe might consider Paulina his true love at this point, but he may feel obligated to be there for Lexie now – especially since she lost so many years and is feeling so overwhelmed.

Since Paulina took herself out of the picture anyway, Abe may insist he should just reunite with Lexie and try to pick up where they left off.

Theo may not be so sure that’s a good idea if Paulina still has Abe’s heart.

Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Lexie will push EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) for answers about her resurrection and how this is even possible.

EJ may argue that the most important thing is that Lexie is back, but she’ll remain confused and perhaps suspicious of his ulterior motives.

Other Days spoilers say Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will try to stay optimistic despite the tough biopsy news she received regarding her malignant tumor.

Chanel and Johnny will lean on each other for support, so there’ll be some sweet scenes as they try to cling to hope.

Over with Javi, he’ll have an awkward encounter with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart).

Javi will get delayed as he prepares to meet up with his new boyfriend, Gus, so that should give Gus an opportunity to pop up.

Michael Ocampo will make his debut in the role, so Leo may get even more jealous when he sees for himself how handsome and charming Gus is.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Javi is still pining for Leo deep down, so stay tuned to see how long it’ll take for their reunion to happen.
