Days of Our Lives Spoilers: 3 Passionate Encounters – These Salem Duos Can’t Resist?

Some passion could erupt for multiple Salemites who are currently facing challenges in the love department, so let’s talk about which ones might hit the sheets.

There’s been a string of tough breakups on Days, but that could open the door to some new DOOL pairings as well as one that might get revisited.

Here are three passionate encounters that might be in the works.

1) Philip and Gwen?

Days fans may recall that Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) had a bit of a chemistry test back in March.

Now that Philip is done with Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez), he could find his way into Gwen’s bed next.

Gwen is feeling frustrated over Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) unwillingness to give her more than a casual arrangement.

The fact that Xander is stuck on Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) doesn’t help either.

Once Gwen finds out about Xander sizzling with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Days spoilers suggest she’ll have another reason to fume.

What better way to get back at Xander than by heading to the bedroom with his brother?

As for Philip, he may try to forget about Gabi by getting passionate with Gwen.

Since Gwen and Gabi are friends, Philip may enjoy blowing that up and pouring salt in Gabi’s wound.

2) Gabi and Theo?

Although Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) is angry with Gabi for accusing him of something he didn’t do, they’ll surely sort this out sooner or later.

Gabi will realize it was Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) who exposed her betrayal to Philip and deliver a sincere apology to Theo.

Even if it takes Theo some time to accept that apology, he’ll get there eventually.

That could lead to Gabi admitting her own feelings for Theo and ultimately taking him to bed.

Theo is obviously attracted to Gabi, so these two may be next in line for some sizzling time together.

3) Chad and Cat?

Now that Jennifer Horton Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) has called a truce with Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), trouble could be on the horizon.

Although Jennifer doesn’t want all this animosity between them anymore, she held firm on not wanting Cat and Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) to be a couple.

Of course, this seems like a recipe for disaster, especially since Chad put it in writing that he wouldn’t pursue a romance with Cat.

If Chad breaks that promise, Jennifer and Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) could go after custody of the kids again.

Once EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) inevitably finds out about Cat’s ISA ties and partnership with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) at the FBI, things will blow up.

That could send Cat running straight to Chad for comfort, so we’ll see if things take a passionate turn.
