Key Takeaways

- Alex and Stephanie differ on Joy.
- EJ threatens Gwen.
- Javi needs a favor from Gabi.
Kristen and Xander Find Common Ground
Viewers assumed that Xander’s (Paul Telfer) relationship with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) was a combination of professional practicality and a love-the-one-you’re-with situationship. Sure, they may be great in bed together, but neither one really cares about the other. Do they?
Turns out the two Salem outcasts have more in common than they thought. And after they figure that out, it suddenly looks like this might not be so casual, after all.
Alex and Stephanie Face a Joy Problem
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) and Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) are still working out the details of how Alex and Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) will co-parent baby Kelsey. Stephanie swears that she is on board and supportive. But that’s in the abstract.
In practice, Stephanie isn’t too thrilled about her husband hanging around with his ex. The ex who gave him his first child. It’s starting to look like Joy will come between Stephanie and Alex… without doing anything but existing.
EJ Warns Gwen to Back Off
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel, who has had big success in this genre) is at risk of losing his hospital. This might mean losing his lab for the wonder drug (which isn’t doing that well to begin with).
Gwen wants to buy it. EJ is not pleased about this. He explains to Gwen why this would be a bad idea. And what might happen if she opts to go through with it, anyway?
Javi Turns to Gabi for Help
Javi (Al Calderon) needs a favor from his cousin, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez). Is it about his job, or about his personal life? Just tell us it isn’t about Leo (Greg Rikaart), please!
