Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans will have to bid farewell to another cast member.

DOOL viewers were first introduced to Jada Hunter back in 2022, but now Elia Cantu has confirmed her exit from the role and show.

On Instagram, Cantu posted a short video of herself taking a bow along with a heartfelt message about her time in Salem.

Let’s look at what Cantu had to say about her run at Days.

“As I say goodbye to Days of Our Lives, I’m excited and looking forward to the next chapter.

Leaving Days is bittersweet, but I step away full of gratitude, and joy for what’s ahead,” Cantu said.

Cantu also insisted it’s been an honor to play a character she considers bold and layered.

The departing Days star revealed that she’ll “forever cherish bringing her to life” and that Jada will always be her girl.

Of course, Cantu also wanted to acknowledge the people who work hard behind the scenes.

After Cantu thanked the cast and crew, she spoke directly to DOOL viewers as well.

“To the Days fans – Thank you. You are incredibly supportive, caring, and dedicated. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you. There’s more to come, and I hope you’ll come along with me for what’s next,” Cantu said as she wrapped up her post.

Since Days films so far in advance, it’ll be a while before Elia Cantu’s final episode as Jada Hunter hits the screen.

Cantu should appear pretty far into the spring of 2027, so there’s still time to enjoy her work as Jada before her last appearance.

It’s too early to say exactly how Jada will exit the show, but her fans will certainly miss Elia Cantu along with her co-stars.

Cantu has been getting plenty of social media support now that she’s confirmed her Days exit, so it’s good to know she’s feeling the love right now.

As for what’s coming up in Cantu’s career, we’ll all be waiting for news on any exciting projects she’ll be part of.

Plus, there’s a chance Jada might return to Salem somewhere down the line!

For now, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jada and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will keep growing closer, so some romantic moments are on the way for these two.
