ABC General Hospital Spoilers: A Storm of Bullets, a Vanishing Gun, and a Mole in the Shadows (Thu, Sept. 4)
Port Charles is reeling after a thunder-split night ends with Drew Kane gunned down in his own home. The shooter slips into the dark with a chilling efficiency, leaving first responders racing to an urgent 911 call and the PCPD staring at a crime scene that screams “professional hit.”
At the luxurious Five Poppies resort, Britt Westbourne steps into a high-stakes standoff of her own. With Vaughn and Josslyn Jacks in the crosshairs, Britt urges a dangerous associate to stand down until “the boss” resurfaces—buying precious seconds in a deadly game of delay and deception. Rumor mill bonus: a burner phone may be pulsing a silent SOS to Jason Morgan.

Meanwhile, whispers of a World Security Bureau traitor thicken the air. Van confides in Josslyn that a mole is burrowed deep, and names start to swirl. Long-time viewers already side-eye Colette Morrow, whose bold deflections and razor-edged comebacks could be the telltale cracks in a double life.
Back in town, Jack Brennan follows the breadcrumbs. In a dimly lit office, he challenges a colleague with cool precision—then clocks Colette’s calculated pushback. Trust is the currency of espionage, and in Port Charles, inflation is brutal.
Carly Spencer makes a rare, vulnerable appeal to Brennan, rattled by the fallout tied to Drew. Rain-slick streets mirror her turmoil as Brennan offers a path to redemption—and a warning that every path has a price. As the suspect pool widens, Carly’s proximity to Drew paints a target she can’t shake.
Inside Drew’s townhouse, the storm has barely passed when Anna Devane and Dante Falconeri sweep in. Spent casings glitter under a shattered lamp, muddy boot prints point to a practiced ingress, and one grim conclusion emerges: somebody knew the layout and the alarms—and wanted Drew silenced.
Not far behind, Trina Robinson and Kai Taylor—who slipped in to fiddle with Drew’s safe at exactly the wrong time—huddle in the shadows. Their breathless whispers capture the peril as a panicked rustle and a muffled oath suggest the shooter aborted a kill shot and bolted. Right plan, wrong night.
General Hospital hums with the aftermath. Elizabeth Webber Baldwin clocks Willow Tait’s drenched scrubs and shaky alibi, while Lucas Jones quietly advises Liz to steer clear of the gathering storm. As Drew’s shooting ricochets down the corridors, Willow’s erratic recent behavior turns curiosity into suspicion.
At the Metro Court, Nina Reeves jolts awake to the news—and to an icy realization that Willow vanished into the storm after a courtroom bombshell in the Judge Herron case. A frantic search of an abandoned overnight bag uncovers a velvet pouch and a compact pistol, rain-kissed and one round light. Nina’s maternal instinct ignites a terrible choice; evidence disappears into a roaring river as cameras catch what eyes do not.
The PCPD’s pressure cooker hisses. Carly, Michael Corinthos, and Kai all take seats under hot lights, while timeline gaps and traffic cams raise eyebrows. Then a twist: ballistics on Judge Herron’s murder echo the caliber pulled from Drew—one shooter, two crimes, or a masterful frame-up?
Drew stabilizes long enough to rasp a single lifeline to Sam McCall: “Wrong target. Tell them Willow’s safe.” That cryptic warning explodes the case board. Was Willow marked—or used?
As night falls again, cliffhangers stack up fast. Anna confronts Nina with laundromat stills that could upend everything. Kevin Collins preps Willow for hypnosis to unlock storm-blurred memories. And a fresh report hints the gun Nina ditched wasn’t Drew’s shooter at all—meaning the real weapon, and the real killer, are still out there.
One truth holds: in Port Charles, secrets don’t sink—they surface. And Thursday’s hour leaves everyone gasping for air as the storm’s second wave rolls in.
