Health Update on General Hospital’s Carolyn Hennesy: ‘All Thoughts and Prayers Are Welcome’
We wanted to take a moment today to send some get well wishes to General Hospital’s Carolyn Hennesy (Diane), who is in the process of undergoing another surgery. The ABC soap vet broke her leg last month and an update was recently shared on where things stand in her recovery.
On November 4, a story posted to the actress’ official Instagram stated, “Quick Carolyn update: First surgery went well and the second surgery is scheduled for Thursday. All thoughts and prayers are welcome.”
The update stems from Hennesy’s initial post to her X account back on October 28, where she shared, “Hello all, due to unforeseen circumstances, like a broken leg, my performance at Vibrato on November 5 has been postponed. We’ll get ‘er done, just not on the 5th.”
Fans quickly jumped under the post to show Hennesy support, who had to cancel her event. “
Hello everyone, sadly (very!) we have to postpone the show on November 5th due to a personal injury,” a message on her Instagram stated, promising more details to come.
The event in question was to take place at the Vibrato Grill and Jazz club, where Hennesy planned to bring “a unique and intimate evening of song, humor and storytelling” to fans. If you planned to attend, be sure to stay tuned to her page for a rescheduled date.
