General Hospital Comings and Goings: Poignant Goodbyes
Two prominent actors have departed General Hospital.
A pair of stars bid adieu to General Hospital, albeit one of them is only temporary. Here’s the soap’s latest comings and goings casting news.
Find out which performers left, if any popular stars from yesteryear are joining the show this week or in the near future, and if any newcomers are boarding the ABC drama in contract, recurring, or day-player roles.

The Week of March 30, 2026
Steve Burton exited Port Charles as Jason Morgan, when his character was carted off to a prison facility by the WSB. The actor is taking a short break from the soap, but he will return to filming in a few months. Here’s how he’s spending his time away from the show.
Adrian Anchondo has wrapped up his run as Marco Rios. His character was killed off after being stabbed to death. Anchondo, who debuted on GH in March 2025, reflected on his time on the show.
Andrew Hawkes gets more screen time as double agent Ross Cullum this week. The villain shares scenes with Eden McCoy’s Josslyn on Monday, March 30.
Bluesy Burke returns as Charlotte Cassadine on Monday, March 30. The teen voices her suspicions about Cullum’s attack on Monday, March 30.
Asher Antonyzyn is back as Danny Morgan. Look for the character to discuss his father’s dire situation with Burke’s Charlotte on Monday, March 30.
Port Charles’ Newest Trio
Port Charles has always been home to some epic friend groups. The 90s had the unforgettable four musketeers: Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Nikolas (the late Tyler Christopher), and Emily (Amber Tamblyn); the 2010s had Michael, Kristina, Morgan, and Molly (long before they were played by Rory Gibson, Kate Mansi, Bryan Craig, and Kristen Vaganos); and of course, there’s always been the unbreakable bond of Sonny (Maurice Benard), Carly (Laura Wright), and Jason (Steve Burton).
Now, make way for Port Charles’ latest friend group: Danny (Asher Antonyzyn), Rocco (Finn Carr), and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke). The three of them are at the center of GH’s biggest storyline right now, so when they all met up on the footbridge, it looked just like the generations that came before them.
When Charlotte and Rocco found Danny lashing out on the bridge, they stayed to calm their brother/cousin/boyfriend down. And that was when they began putting the pieces together.

When Danny mentioned he knew his dad was leaving town, Rocco was surprised to learn Jason told him he was leaving with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud). That’s when they realized the pair planned to leave Port Charles together.
Of course, no one still knows that Rocco was the one who shot Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) and not Jason. And despite Danny apologizing to Rocco for what his dad did to his dad, when the truth finally comes out, he may never forgive Rocco for letting his dad be sent away for something he did.
General Hospital spoilers for March 31 take things back to the PCPD when Nathan (Ryan Paevey) receives a mysterious text. Could this be about Cullum’s shooting, or revert back to where Nathan was for seven years?
