General Hospital (GH) update for Monday, June 8, indicates that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) will take his new captive to Wyndemere, where Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will give Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) some unexpected news.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will also have an attorney in mind, so some great stuff is coming up.

For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will take a moment to celebrate her latest win with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), but she’ll know there’s more work to be done when it comes to Sidwell’s downfall.

Although Sonny would prefer to just wipe Sidwell off the map, Laura will insist on taking him down together in a way she approves of.

At GH, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) will catch Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) off guard by revealing her medical school plans.

Lucas will get a special request, so that should tie in with Kristina’s new career goals.

Over with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), he’ll encourage Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to take some things off her plate by delegating.

This may involve Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) upcoming baby shower, but the real reason for Kai’s concerns will be all the family stress she’s under.

That family stress could get worse if Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) files a civil suit against Curtis.

That’s something Isaiah may seriously consider since Curtis’ actions may have destroyed the doc’s future as a surgeon.

However, Portia asks Isaiah if he “could just hold off for now” in the preview clip, so she may push him to pump the brakes while Curtis is prepping for his criminal trial.

As part of that criminal trial prep, Curtis will need a good defense lawyer.

Once Curtis sits down with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and asks her to take his case, will she get on board?

After Sidwell hints to Cassius that finding Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) isn’t as important anymore, Cassius will discover his sister’s stunning replacement.

Now that Cullum has kidnapped Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), he’ll take her back to Wyndemere.

Obrecht is obviously Cullum’s pick to replace Britt on the project, so he’ll expect her to get in the lab soon.

In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is in for a shock when another hostage arrives.

Unconscious Liesl will be tossed in there with Josslyn, who’ll demand answers about how she ended up in this condition.

Josslyn might hide in the bedroom quarters until Cullum is gone and grill Cassius once he takes over dealing with Obrecht.

That could keep Josslyn’s presence quiet a bit longer, but she’ll still worry now that Cullum is getting more involved in the action.
