On Wednesday, May 7, the married TLC couple took to Instagram with a birthday shoutout to their eldest daughter

The post was short and sweet but clearly got its point across.

“🎈Happy Birthday 🎈,” the parents wrote alongside a photo of Anna, who turned 25, smiling while holding a sparkler in each hand.

For those who tuned into Season 15 of 7LJ, the tribute likely raised eyebrows. The end of the latest season showed Anna and her parents barely on speaking terms as she expressed frustration about never being “good enough” in Trent and Amber’s eyes.

In March, Anna posted a TikTok video speaking out about her ongoing clash with her parents.

“Pov – you grow up on reality tv & get treated like the black sheep by loved ones for millions to see,” Anna captioned a clip of herself smiling and twirling in a circle at a department store.

In the caption, she added, “Don’t let the smile fool you guys it’s tough with the episodes for me too.”

Before May 7, Trent and Amber had not publicly addressed the rift with Anna outside the show.

Anna’s younger sister, Liz Johnston, however, sent a bold message about the rumored feud ahead of Season 15 in an exclusive interview with Parade.

Hopefully, the birthday shoutout from Trent and Amber means some headway has been made to bring the family back together.
