The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, February 23, reveal that there’ll be a new lead regarding Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), so that’ll get Devon Winters (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) attention.

Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) sneaky move will also spark some fury, so some great stuff is coming up on the CBS soap.

Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) recently heard Cane’s pitch, but he was doubtful he’d be able to do anything to sway Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).

Since Phyllis finally got the power she was craving, Daniel knew it’d be tough to get it away from her now.

However, Cane had a scenario that he hoped would work and save Phyllis from this terrible road she’s headed down.

Although Cane didn’t go into the details of his plan, Daniel was definitely at the center of it.

Once Cane’s scheme moves forward with Daniel’s assistance, it’ll lead to a major blowup with Phyllis.

It turns out Phyllis will consider Daniel a traitor and will track him down once the week of February 23-27 gets underway.

Phyllis will make it clear that forgiveness isn’t an option after what Daniel’s done.

Even if Phyllis doesn’t lose Newman Enterprises just yet, she’ll have a reason to explode at Daniel while he’s at the coffeehouse with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).

After Phyllis launches a tirade and stomps off, Tessa may give Daniel some support and understand that he’s dishing out some tough love.

Daniel might also tip Devon and Nate off to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) involvement in Lily and the twins’ disappearance.

Maybe Daniel will tell Nate and Devon that Victor’s holding the three of them hostage as part of a leverage plan that went wrong.

At some point, Y&R spoilers say Devon and Nate will share some news with Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) at the Chancellor mansion.

There’ll be some talk about a lead on what happened to Lily, so Devon may keep this vague to avoid upsetting Abby.

The last thing Abby needs right now is to find out her father carried out a triple abduction while Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark) was missing.

That might send Abby over the edge, so Devon and Nate might keep Victor’s name out of it until they know more.

Although Lily struck a deal with Victor and isn’t in genuine danger, that won’t stop Devon and Nate from worrying.

Nate and Devon may try to track Lily down for a rescue depending on how things play out.
