HORRIFIC Plane Crash Kills Taylor And Deacon While Sheila REJOICES In Malice B&B Spoilers
Thursday’s Bold & Beautiful (recapped here) marked a major turning point: Sheila said goodbye to Deacon — and her job at Il Giardino. She swore that she’d be back, but in the meantime, where does the character go? She may have already given us — and herself — the answer.
Rx for Trouble
For her face-offs with Taylor and then Deacon, Sheila was dressed like the nurse that she used to be. And though, to her credit, she doesn’t want to once again become the unstable healthcare provided who drugged and raped her first ex-husband on Young & Restless, she could renew her license and go to work at the hospital.
Such a move would kill two birds with one stone without actually requiring Sheila to commit murder: 1. Getting a new job and doing well at it would reinforce in Deacon’s mind that she’s changed — and she needs all the help she can get in that regard after lying about Luna and confronting Taylor with a pizza cutter.
2. Punching the clock at the hospital would put Sheila in regular close proximity to her only friend, Li, as well as son Finn. “Subtlety” is not Sheila’s specialty, hell knows, but she might be able to impress her son not only with her professionalism but with the distance that she struggles to keep from him. She could be pleasant but not obsessive.
If Sheila really wows Finn as he watches her behavior day in and day out, he might feel bad enough for her, what with the end of her marriage and all, that he’d suggest to Steffy that they have her over for dinner, let her play with Hayes a little, give her half a chance. “If she’s done the work and has been reformed,” we can just hear him saying, “is it fair to keep punishing her for things that she did in the past?”
Understandably, Steffy would blow her stack. Wouldn’t you? Sheila shot her in cold blood and left her for dead — along with Finn, we might add. “If she’s changed, great,” Steffy could say. “Let someone else enjoy how much she’s changed. The only change I’m interested in is a change of topic!
The Mother of All Fights
As Jacqueline MacInnes has told Soaps.com: “If Steffy is anything, she is resilient on her take on Sheila. It’s one thing that she and Finn will bicker about, and Finn will always take Steffy’s side as torn as he is.”
Rather, so far, he has always taken Steffy’s side. Were that to change, Wood admitted that the one thing that could cause a rift between the marrieds “would ultimately be Sheila.”
