Nanny Faye’s Recent Health Scare Is Just Heartbreaking!

Nanny Faye continues to mourn the death of her 15-year-old dog Miley.

“It broke my heart and I’m still sad about her,” Faye told her granddaughter Savannah Chrisley on the latest episode of the reality star’s Unlocked podcast.

Chrisley, 27, hosted a Christmas themed episode titled “A Nanny Faye Christmas,” in which she sat down with her grandmother to discuss the holidays and the recent passing of Faye’s beloved Yorkie.

“I’ve said for a while, she couldn’t see, she couldn’t walk,” Chrisley said of Faye’s pet.

But Faye quickly interrupted: “Don’t talk about her like that, cause listen, that breaks my heart. I carried her, and just like Jesus says, when you feel like I’m not with you, I’m carrying you. So that’s the way I did Miley. I carried her wherever she needed to go.”

Miley was 15 years old when she died. “That’s a long time,” Faye told her granddaughter. “But I didn’t want to give her up.”

Even the veterinarian Faye brought her dog to was grieving the separation of Miley and Faye, she said. “My doctor said, ‘Nanny I wish I could go back there and give you three more years with her.’ She cried too, said ‘but I can’t,’” Faye recalled.

“It broke my heart and I’m still sad about her,” Faye continued. “I miss her every day.”

Chrisley tried to bring comfort to her grandmother by assuring her the family would get her another dog, but Faye insisted that she doesn’t want a new pet.

“It won’t be Miley. I had one husband and one dog. So I’m not going to have anything else,” Faye said.

Aside from her attachment, Faye has a reasonable outlook on getting a new pet. “I don’t want one because I’m old myself,” she explained. “She was hanging on for me and I was hanging on for her. So she’s gone, so I ain’t got nobody to hang on to.”

Chrisley was upset by this comment from her grandmother, who she said she regularly checks in with.
