Hold the Phone: Bold & Beautiful’s Dylan Just Got the Kind Of Call That Changes Everything!

Who could have predicted that this week’d biggest Bold & Beautiful shocker would come after the show’s cliffhanger? Sure, we’re excited to see Ivy squirm under Electra’s accusation-filled grilling, but what really got people talking was that mysterious phone call Dylan received in the scenes teasing next week’s episodes!

“It’s me,” said a distorted voice on the other end of the line. “We have some unfinished business.”

Say what? Or rather… said who? Because that’s the real question here. Who, exactly, is calling the erstwhile art teacher and what, exactly, is this “unfinished business” of which they speak?

Now obviously, it could be someone from her past that we’ve yet to meet. Perhaps a family member or someone from her time on the streets. But that seems unlikely. After all, why would the show need to distort the voice if it were someone we didn’t actually know? Also… where’s the drama in that?

But if it is someone already on the canvas, that leaves the very big question of who. And after carefully examining the evidence, we have a few thoughts… the first of which is Remy. After all, we know from recent interviews that Deke’s estranged boyfriend has a secret connection to someone, and Dylan seems a pretty likely suspect! Plus, it’s not as if the guy hasn’t terrorized a hapless female in the past… right, Electra?

Another person who springs to mind? The supposedly late Luna. Ever since that foggy night on which Dylan plowed down Will’s rapist, we’ve had a sneaking suspicion that rumors of her death might be greatly exaggerated. Might the “unfinished business” be with regards to what really happened that night… and how much Dylan’s life has changed in the wake of Luna’s supposed demise?

This being Bold & Beautiful, it’s basically impossible to talk about twisted schemes without wondering if Sheila is somehow involved. Given that Dylan — unintentionally or not — killed Sheila’s granddaughter, it’s pretty easy to draw a line between the waitress and Dylan. But what in the world would the former want with the latter?
