The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 22, reveal that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) time in New York will come with some surprises. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will also do something that could come back to haunt him, so there’ll be a lot happening in Genoa City.

For starters, it looks like Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will dig her heels in when it comes to her separation from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Until Victor can see that what he did to Jack was wrong and start showing some remorse, Nikki won’t be interested in patching things up.

Victor really crossed the line with his abduction plot, especially since hired Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) for all the drama on the yacht.

In New York, Holden and Claire will deepen their bond even further.

This trip will come with a curveball, so that could mean Claire will unexpectedly surrender to passion and hit the sheets with Holden.

However, we can’t forget how Holden suggested he might be willing to tell Claire the whole Los Angeles story if she came on this trip with him.

The curveball could come into play if Holden indeed confesses to decking that art dealer to defend Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and accidentally killing him.

Claire might learn the truth about the fatal cover-up and gain a new perspective on the complicated situation.
