Y&R 6-5-2026 || The Young And The Restless Full Episode FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 2026
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, June 5, reveals that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will find out what’s next and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) refuses to give Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a pass.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will also get a big win, so let’s discuss what’s ahead in Genoa City.
At the park café, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will bump into Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and hug him over the news of Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) being released from the hospital today.
Holden will be surprised over how nice Audra’s being, but she’ll argue that she’s not a monster.
Plus, Malcolm’s ordeal will stir up memories of what Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford) went through with her own illness, so that’ll affect Audra, too.
Talk will eventually turn to Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) opening up a recreation of The Shadow Room in Genoa City.
Holden will be unsettled over this development, but Audra will be intrigued enough to admit she’ll be there on opening night.
Holden will suspect Audra’s interest is more about the fact that Noah runs the place.
Since Audra is clearly obsessing over her ex, Holden will wonder if she really wants to stir up conflict with Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) and invite more trouble into her life.
At Crimson Lights, Noah will talk to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about his nightclub’s upcoming grand opening since there’s been a lot of buzz online.
Nick will also point out that he’s headed to see Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and that they’re going to deal with Matt.

As for Phyllis, Sharon will worry about her now that she’s given up Newman Enterprises.
Noah and Sharon will eventually walk in on Phyllis’ disastrous attempt to make things right with Daniel at Society.
Daniel won’t think Phyllis learned from her mistakes when he realizes she was forced to surrender the company instead of giving it up willingly. Phyllis will stomp off after Daniel acts like she’s still playing the victim, so Sharon and Noah will watch her go.
Daniel won’t think Phyllis has done anything to earn forgiveness, but Sharon will point out that Phyllis is someone who needs validation.
Phyllis also needs control after what happened in the clinic, so Sharon will recognize that.
Sharon will suggest there’s no incentive for Phyllis to change and make good choices if she’s treated like a pariah.
After Sharon chases after Phyllis and finds her at the coffeehouse, she’ll offer a pep talk.
Sharon will know Phyllis isn’t a quitter and will push Phyllis to prove her right.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will also catch up with Lily at Crimson Lights, so that’ll bring some talk about Malcolm’s recovery and Cane’s good dream about Lily.
After the twins send a group chat in approval of what Cane did for Malcolm, he’ll get a little choked up.
Cane will eventually make plans to meet up with Lily for lunch after she takes a mysterious meeting with Victor.
Speaking of Victor, he’ll be reluctant to let Matt out of his sight at the Newman ranch.
However, Matt will keep requesting a shower, so Victor will finally arrange for him to take one and get some fresh clothes.
In the meantime, Nick will show up and wonder what Victor intends to do about Matt.
Victor will insist he’s going to put Matt through a serious test and that they can use him if he passes.
If Matt fails to prove he’s sincere, Victor will declare that he won’t hesitate to crush him.
Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Lily will show up wondering why Victor called this meeting.
Since Victor has Newman Enterprises back, he’ll be ready to transfer Chancellor over to Lily as promised.
Lily will be pleased and fill Cane in at Society soon after. That’ll lead to Lily asking how Cane would feel about running it for her.
Back at the Newman ranch, Nick will complain about Victor giving Chancellor to Lily since he’ll know this is going to hurt Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Once Matt emerges from his shower with another outfit on, he’ll admit he feels like a new man!
Matt will want to know his fate, so Victor will explain his plan to test his sincerity.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Matt will be willing to do whatever it takes to prove himself, so stick with the CBS soap.
