The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of June 29-July 3 reveal that several Genoa City residents will have to be careful as they move forward with some sneaky behavior.

Y&R fans won’t want to miss all the troubling obsessions and romantic complications ahead on the CBS soap.

First, Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) will try to make Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) believe his therapy is working like a charm.

Since Dr. Markham is being paid by Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk), he’s hoping to make Diane see that she needs to let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) go.

Diane will presumably act like Dr. Markham is helping her see the light and play up how divorce just might be her best option.

Although Diane will presumably want to fight her way back to Jack instead, she’ll lean into Dr. Markham’s way of thinking and act like he’s right.

Meanwhile, Jack and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will take quite a gamble with Patty.

Kyle and Jack will team up on a plan that’ll involve tricking Patty in some way, so they’ll be putting a lot on the line.

Will this lead to a search of Dr. Markham’s property?

Kyle has been insisting he should break in Dr. Markham’s private residence, so we’ll see if he takes follows through or if Jack resolves to do it himself.

Regardless, Jack and Kyle will continue doing whatever it takes to rescue Diane from the nightmare she’s stuck in.

Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he’ll fight to be there for Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) despite her attempts to push him away.

Nikki can be stubborn like Victor, so she may keep her walls up longer than he would like.

However, Nikki really does need Victor’s support and maybe even his endless resources when it comes to finding the best possible care.

Since Nikki could go blind with or without surgery, there’ll be a lot at stake for her.

As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll have a decision to make after Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) recommends him for an intriguing project – maybe even one that could help Nikki if it involves some experimental treatment plan.

Whatever the case, Nikki will have to make some decisions of her own when it comes to her next steps and whether she’ll schedule the risky procedure to remove the mass that’s pressing on her optic nerve.

Across town, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may grow closer if she’s willing to date him, but you can bet Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) isn’t going to be on board with that!

Jill Abbott (temporarily played by Lauren Koslow) will also get tangled up in some exciting Y&R drama while she’s back in town.

Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) Chancellor obsession seems poised to come back in full force and lead to trouble for Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) as well as Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Jill should be part of that story along with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who’ll be disappointed over Billy concentrating on Chancellor instead of their wedding and baby plans.
