The Chrisleys: Back to Reality’ To Document Todd and Julie Chrisley’s Life After Prison
Just months after being released from prison, Todd and Julie Chrisley are returning to television with a new Lifetime series, “The Chrisleys: Back to Reality.”

The show, which daughter Savannah Chrisley previously announced to reporters in May as she waited to reunite with her parents, will follow the couple as well as their children and in-laws as they adjust to life after prison.
Lifetime uploaded a five-minute trailer for the show July 31 that revealed a large portion of the series will also focus on how the bond between Savannah Chrisley and her family members unraveled while her parents were imprisoned.
Todd and Julie Chrisley, who previously led the USA Network show “Chrisley Knows Best,” were indicted by a federal grand jury in Atlanta in 2019 for 12 counts of wire fraud, conspiracy to commit bank fraud and conspiracy to defraud the United States.
The two reality stars were convicted of federal fraud charges and were sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison. Todd Chrisley was sent to the Federal Prison Camp, Pensacola in Florida and was initially given a sentence of 12 years before it was reduced by two years. His wife, whom he has been married to since 1996, was given seven years at Federal Medical Center, Lexington in Kentucky. Her sentence was shortened by 14 months.
After they started serving their time, Savannah Chrisley began to advocate for their release.

On May 28, Trump agreed to pardon the pair and phoned Savannah Chrisley and brother Grayson Chrisley from the Oval Office to share the news. A video of the conversation was posted on X.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were released from their respective prisons the same day, after more than two years behind bars. Now, they are ready to share their “truth” about the experience.
