Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) still seems to think that her destiny is Ridge (Thorsten Kaye). Of course, when Nick (Jack Wagner) returned to Los Angeles he decided to make Brooke rethink things. He kissed her basically right off the bat, and it was a little bit magical for Brooke (and him).
Nick is interested in breaking Brooke out of her cycle with Ridge. Brooke even confessed Nick’s return to Katie (Heather Tom). She also let her sister know about Nick’s kiss.

Ridge and Taylor (Rebecca Budig) are together. No, really. They are. Ridge has been clear to everyone about that, including Brooke and Eric (John McCook). Recently, Taylor and Ridge discussed Brooke’s lingering presence in their relationship.
Of course, Ridge and Nick don’t get along, and his return has irked Ridge. Taylor, on the other hand, should be happy since the hope is that Nick will occupy Brooke’s time. Of course, Taylor doesn’t appreciate that Nick frustrates Ridge so much. After all, isn’t Ridge with her? Why would he care about who Brooke is seeing?
