B&B’s Katherine Kelly Lang reveals she has been written out of the show and her contract was not renewed.

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that the show has been known to kill off a character or two for the sake of a good story.

Sometimes key players have to face a grim fate to keep the drama going, so it’s just an accepted part of soaps at this point.

However, there are some characters who can seem untouchable, especially after so many years on the air.

Would B&B ever dare to kill off someone like Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), who made her debut in 1987 when the show first began?

Katherine Kelly Lang addressed that possibility in an interview with Us Weekly while she was taking part in the BBTV streaming app launch event.

Let’s look at what Lang had to say about Brooke potentially facing a fatal exit.

“I never, ever think they’re gonna kill me off,” Lang said. “I just don’t think that would happen. But it could, you never know.”

In other words, Lang knows better than to rule anything out, but she also seriously doubts that the show has any kind of deadly intentions when it comes to Brooke’s future.

With Brooke and Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) involved in a major sister rivalry, there’s no signs of things slowing down.

Katherine Kelly Lang admitted it’s a joy to keep showing up and playing Brooke each year.

“I have the best boss, the best storylines, the best character. I love my character, and I’m just so, so grateful every day when I go to work,” Lang insisted.

John McCook (Eric Forrester) also offered up his take on whether Eric might face a fatal outcome of his own.

That led to McCook’s joke about how often the show’s already attempted it!

“They’ve tried killing me off a couple of times in the last, late five years,” McCook said. “It just doesn’t work.”

As McCook reflected on what a privilege it’s been to work on B&B so far, he marveled over receiving a paycheck from the same place for nearly 40 years.

The show recently celebrated its 39th anniversary, so it’s great to see it’s still going strong after all this time.
