The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, August 11, reveal that Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) will address his real feelings for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) while Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) gets some unsettling news.

For starters, Daniel will join Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) for a catch-up session in the park.

It’ll prove pretty enlightening when it comes to Daniel’s bond with Tessa and the turn it’s been taking lately – at least on his end.

Based on what Daniel confides, Danny will sense that his son may view Tessa as more than just a friend.

Daniel will eventually confess that he may be developing real feelings for Tessa, but things will obviously be complicated due to her marriage being in limbo.

Tessa is still in love with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), but she’s feeling hurt over their separation and Mariah’s refusal to open up about her issues.

Since Mariah is shutting Tessa out and making unilateral decisions about their relationship, Tessa will continue to struggle and wonder if they have a future together.

Over with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Y&R spoilers say he’ll have a lot on his mind following a strategy session with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Jack will eventually open up to Diane about Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) plans in Genoa City and how Billy could help protect Jabot.

However, Diane will be alarmed when she realizes Billy just might make or break the future of the family business!

Billy will have to convince Cane that he’s a team player for this takedown mission to work.

The goal will be to have Billy report back to Jack with intel and ultimately thwart Cane from the inside.

Of course, Diane may question if they can trust Billy to stay loyal to the Abbotts.

Billy also tends to get distracted easily, so Diane may fear they need some sort of backup plan in case he fails them.

As for Cane, he’ll consider whether he should move forward with a Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) alliance against the Abbotts.

Even if Cane lets Victor believe they’ve reached an agreement, there’s certainly the potential for a betrayal on both sides.
