The Young and the Restless delivered some excitement with Audra and Claire’s catfight. Not only did fans enjoy the smackdown between the two women, but it was also thrilling for Zuleyka Silver.
Slap, Chokes, and Fun
The feud between Audra (Silver) and Claire (Hayley Erin) has been getting tenser. So far, the ladies have only traded barbs when they run into each other. But a recent encounter had things turning physical.
During a run-in at Society, Audra slapped Claire, who then retaliated by choking Audra. The catfight between the two was reminiscent of the good old days of Jill (Jess Walton) and Katherine’s (the late Jeanne Cooper) rivalry. Seeing Audra and Claire get physical was a shocking, yet exciting moment for viewers.
Behind the scenes, it was even more fun for Silver. On X, the actress responded to a fan praising Audra’s slap. “Can someone turn this into a GIF? 😂 Glad y’all loved the slap. We had so much fun filming these scenes,” she wrote.
While Audra did start the catfight, based on Silver’s comment section, many fans are on her side. “Loved the slap. Love all your scenes! Team Audra!” declared one fan. “Yes, girl! Finally! That was amazing to watch, best Christmas present ever!” one viewer wrote.
When one fan brought up Audra playing victim even though she started the fight, Silver had an interesting response. “Very on brand for Audra.😂 I actually laughed out loud when I read that part,” the star wrote.
This Isn’t Over
Silver and Erin seem to be having lots of fun with the Audra and Claire storyline. And they’ll be having plenty more excitement because the feud is far from over.
The catfight has unleashed Claire’s anger and she’s more determined than ever to destroy Audra. Thanks to Holden (Nathan Owens), Claire knows a secret about Audra’s past. With this new info, Claire, along with Kyle (Michael Mealor), will finally take down Audra.
Audra is already worried about Claire digging into her and Holden’s past. But with Claire possibly bringing back someone from Audra’s past, it’ll have Miss Charles more on edge.
Although Claire is trying to get under Audra’s skin, the businesswoman is determined not to let her enemy win. There’s going to be more confrontations and possibly more catfights as this feud continues.
