The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Monday, January 26, reveals that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will get summoned over an emergency while Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) fakes danger for Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) family.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will hug Victor and wish she’d done more to protect the company back when Aristotle Dumas aka Cane announced his grand takeover plans.

Victor will do his best to reassure Victoria, but it’ll be obvious that he’s genuinely concerned about the way things are going for the family business.

Although Victoria will quiz Victor about his next move, Victor will leave her in the dark.

When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) shows up for a meeting with Victor, Victoria will get frustrated since Victor will be willing to open up to her brother instead.

At Society on Monday’s Y&R episode, Victoria will vent to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), who’ll worry about the possibility of Victor and Cane’s feud getting worse.

Back with Victor, he’ll instruct Adam to find out where Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is staying since she recently left town.

Victor will want to know where the twins are as well, so Adam will question if he intends to put the three of them in harm’s way.

Victor will insist he’d never put Lily, Charlie Ashby (last played by Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie Ashby (last played by Lexie Stevenson) in legitimate danger, but he’ll plan to make Cane believe the danger is real and get him to the bargaining table.

At the cottage, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will gloat to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) since the hospital staff said he didn’t need to be admitted again, but she’ll point out that they still told him to take it easy.

Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun) will return following a meeting with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), so there’ll be some talk about Sienna getting all Matt Clark’s (Roger Howarth) assets and getting her marriage annulled.

As for Matt’s fate, it’ll be revealed that he got arrested and is stuck in jail without bail awaiting trial.

Sharon will be glad the nightmare’s over, but Nick won’t seem so sure considering what Matt’s capable of.

Noah will be the owner of The Shadow Room, but he’ll want to stick around Genoa City and spend time with his loved ones.

Since Noah’s club in London is doing fine under the team he hired, he’ll suggest the same arrangement could work for The Shadow Room.

Although Noah will be excited for everyone to get to know Sienna better, she’ll insist it’s time for her to return to Los Angeles.

Noah will argue that if Sienna’s going back to LA, then he’s going with her.

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle and Claire will frantically rush there after getting summoned over an emergency.

It’ll leave Claire and Kyle worried something happened to Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell), but the kid will basically admit he exaggerated and needs their help with a project.

Harrison will quiz Kyle and Claire about all their favorite things to prove they’re a good match since he misses when they were a couple.

Claire and Kyle will assure Harrison that they both still adore him, so he’ll try to accept that they’re just friends now.

However, Kyle and Claire will seem emotionally affected by the day’s events as they part ways.

Harrison will later ask if his dad misses Claire as much as him, so Kyle will admit he does.

Although Claire will rush off to see Holden (Nathan Owens) after getting his text, she’ll pause to look back at Kyle through the window and seem a little sad.
