Viewers are still not sure why Mariah (Camryn Grimes) kidnapped Dominic (Ethan Ray Clark). Sure, she carried the boy and gave birth to him. And she had trouble giving up her little Bowie. But that was years ago.
Mariah has a wife now, and she and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) have their own little girl, Aria (who may or may not still be hard of hearing; that story was dropped as abruptly as it was brought up). So why the resurrected obsession with Dominic?
Yes, yes, she has evil Ghost Ian (Ray Wise) in her head. But since he’s imaginary and merely a manifestation of Mariah’s subconscious, the criminal impulse comes from Mariah herself.
The Parent Trap
Abby (Melissa Ordway) and Devon (Bryton James), between them, belong to all the richest families in Genoa City: the Newmans, the Abbotts, the Chancellors, and the Winterses. And yet, they can’t get any decent security.
We realize that Victor (Eric Braeden) is too busy worrying about his own company and threatening Cane’s (Billy Flynn) family than he is caring about Abby and her missing child. But what’s stopping Devon from scorching the Earth? Or, at the very least, hiring some competent detectives. The ones they have are always a step behind Mariah. Is this the case yet again?
