The Young and the Restless (Y&R) recap for Friday, April 10, reveals that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will make a move that stuns Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) while Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) makes a big decision.

Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will also have bad news for Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore), so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.

At Crimson Lights, Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) will chat with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) at the counter and admit her son is Holden, who’ll pop up and join his mom on the patio.

After Holden decides he wants to meet with Malcolm and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Stephanie will summon them.

Holden will get a text about his results and look at them, but he’ll have to inform Lily, Malcolm and Stephanie that he’s not a donor match.

Lily will plan on contacting the twins and having them get tested ASAP, so Malcolm will apologize to Stephanie for not mentioning his grandchildren before now.

As for Lily, she’ll get Devon Winters (Bryton James) on the phone to see about using the jet for an urgent Los Angeles trip.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will admit she’s got a bad feeling about Vegas and will fill Sharon in on a terrible dream she had about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) transforming back into Spider.

Sharon will do her best to reassure Chelsea, especially since Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is also in Vegas to support Adam.

Even so, Chelsea will feel like she has to trust her instincts here.

Chelsea will know in her gut that something’s wrong, especially when Adam doesn’t take another one of her calls.

In the end, Chelsea will decide she’s had enough waiting around and will declare that she’s going to Vegas.

Next on Friday’s Y&R episode, Nick will hide and spy on Adam’s conversation with Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani).

Riza will try to give Adam his cut of his recent winnings, but he’ll urge her to hang onto the money and will feel confident he can win far more.

After Riza agrees Adam can meet her partner today, she’ll suggest a private celebration later.

Adam will get on board with the idea and kiss Riza as Nick watches nearby.

Once Riza is gone, Nick will question how far Adam’s willing to go with Riza.

Adam will acknowledge that he has to kiss Riza and play along, but he’ll suggest he won’t let it get as far as the bedroom.

Riza will find Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) waiting in her room, so she’ll suggest Spider is ready to meet whenever Matt is.

That’ll lead to Riza speaking with Adam over the phone and getting confirmation that he’ll come to her suite in about an hour.

Matt will pump Riza for more details and worry she’s hiding something, but she’ll claim there’s nothing and pretend she doesn’t have a romantic history with Spider.

Nick will go back and forth on whether Adam should do this, but Adam will feel like they’ve come too far to back out now.

After Nick gets a drug boost in the bathroom, he’ll insist on being the one to ambush Matt and try to grab him.

Adam won’t like this, but he’ll agree as long as he’s nearby for backup.

Nick will move forward with this new plan and eventually speak with Adam on the phone outside Riza’s room.

Adam will push Nick to keep his phone on, so Nick will keep the call in progress as he slips the phone back into his pocket.

After Nick enters the room, Matt will sneak up behind him and throw a bag over his head.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Matt will gain the upper hand on Nick as Friday’s episode wraps up, so stay tuned.
