CBS The Young And The Restless Episode Friday. April 17 Spoilers reveal that Diane Jenkins Abbott may be about to pull off the most twisted scheme Genoa City has ever seen—and the fallout could destroy both Nikki Newman and Jack Abbott forever.
For starters, Diane’s bitterness over Jack’s divided loyalties and the Newman family may finally push her over the edge. Instead of confronting her enemies directly, Diane allegedly decides to launch a plan so shocking and manipulative that no one sees it coming.
According to the latest speculation, Diane stages a car accident and deliberately makes herself look like the victim.
Once the police and paramedics arrive, Diane reportedly turns on the tears and claims that Nikki Newman was behind the wheel. In other words, Diane accuses Nikki of attempted murder.
The accusation sends shockwaves through Genoa City. Nikki is suddenly forced into a legal nightmare, while the entire Newman family scrambles to protect her name and reputation.
Unfortunately, the biggest surprise may be Jack’s reaction. Rather than questioning Diane’s story, Jack immediately believes her. Even after everything Diane has done in the past, Jack appears ready to stand by her side without hesitation. That blind loyalty could prove disastrous.
As Diane continues to play the role of a traumatized victim, Jack allegedly launches a very public crusade against Nikki.
